The Jungle Bar
If you have traveled on Mexico 19 to Todo Santos, you've no doubt driven pass the Jungle Bar. It's located at km 69 accross from Art & Beer. You may not have noticed it since it has been closed for some time now. Well it is now under new ownership. I recently had the good fortune to meet the new owners Kimberly and her husband Carlos. They are currently making some improvements to the property and will be having their grand opening soon.
So what sets the Jungle Bar apart from the average restaurant bar? First off Kimberly and Carlos are committed to making sure the Jungle Bar is family friendly . They have a large playground and an animal petting are to keep your little ones happy. Second they have a few bungalows on site which they rent at very affordable rates .They also have package rates which include meals and tours .
The Jungle Bar in association with Crystal Clear Adventures will be offering canoe boat tours around La Paz. Unlike the glass bottom boats their canoes are completely transparent. These are especially nice for those who want to explore the ocean without having to get in the water. They will also be offering an array of other activities to their guests .
They plan to have a movie and ladies night. Sundays family fun day and Fridays farmers market all interested vendors should stop by the Jungle Bar or call 624 159 7231. Concert events are also in their plans. The facility is also available for private parties .
During the slow season they'll be open Friday - Sunday from 10am -11pm
So if you're planning a day, a weekend or week excursion the Jungle Bar should definitely be on your list of options. I can assure you, you won't be dissappointed.
